Ozya is the alter ego of Mariana Tootsie, a blues pop artist who toured the world and collaborated both on stage and in the studio with renowned musicians (Manu Katché, Eric Legnini, etc). You may have heard her voice on The Hunger Games soundtrack, in The Voice France or as a finalist in the biggest USA songwriting contest, the ISC, in which - out of 19,000 candidates selected worldwide - she attained number 9 in the blues category! Ozya is born when Tootsie sends a demo via Facebook to producer Tim Bran who produced London Grammar, La Roux, The Verve, Birdy, Paul Mc Cartney … to name a few. Tim responds positively 48 hours later, and Mariana sets off to London to record her first two singles "Would you remember me" and "For All The Good". Ozya depicts her melodious and melancholic electro/pop universe with hip-hop, trip-hop, sometimes baroque sounds. Ozya finalized her album with Tim Bran during the Autumn 2020. "The Armour" was released on the 26th of March 2021.
